Our Story
Titan Ministries began after the release of Trapped in the Addict. What we believed would simply be a Bible study to help equip the local church to respond to addiction became something far bigger than we could see in the moment. God used one book, one story, and one family’s journey to build a mission rooted in redemption, discipleship, and restoration.
Before the book ever released, Blake spent months preparing Trapped in the Addict alongside his mother, Donna. Two months after publishing, we unexpectedly lost her. Her impact, prayers, and love are still woven throughout every page, and a part of her continues to live on through the work God is doing today.
The next chapter came through Blake’s father, Johnny Wayne, after his release from A Better Way Ministries following a long battle with addiction and incarceration. He came home with a desire to rebuild his life through Scripture and a commitment to doing “the next right thing”. Over time, Blake and Wayne realized something powerful. The path that helped Johnny Wayne succeed was not complicated, but it was proven. It was built on spiritual grounding, consistency, and responsibility.
That realization became the foundation of Titan House, our men’s discipleship housing initiative created to help those re-entering society after addiction, incarceration, or rehab. Titan House exists to support men through three core commitments: a growing relationship with God(Church), a stable home environment(Home), and meaningful employment(Work). These simple foundations create space for men to regain stability, rebuild trust, and learn a new way of life.
As Titan continued to grow, God opened the door for Titan Media. Through books, video series, a podcast, and social media, Titan Media exists to share with a broken world that hope is real, freedom is possible, and transformation is available through Jesus Christ. Titan Media serves more than the recovery community. Our mission is also to strengthen and empower the local church and believers everywhere, because at the root of what we all battle is not merely addiction. The deeper issue is sin, and the gospel speaks to every form of bondage.
Titan Ministries exists for this purpose: to point people to Jesus and to remind them that “sobriety is only the beginning”.
